Gantry Framework Version 2.0

Dominion is the first template to use the next generation of the Gantry Framework, version 2.0, which includes powerful new features such as menu item control, RTL support, custom presets and many more. 6 Style Variations in High, Med and Low Modes

RTL Support

Template side RTL support from the Fusion menu to the Typography. This is in conjunction with Gantry version 2.0's RTL support for the automatic flipping of the grid system.

If Joomla is set to RTL mode, in its language settings, the Dominion template will automatically adjust to its RTL layout. The modules will invert inside a row, such as showcase-a and showcase-f being in alternate locations; the various template elements such as the breadcrumbs and typography will also flip; and also the menu will adjust accordingly (ensure you are using the latest version of RokNavMenu however).

Gantry Framework

The most noticeable feature of Reaction is most certainly its incorporation of the new Gantry Framework. Gantry is, as a basic definition, A framework used for assembling, building and maintaining a RocketTheme template. It is an advanced platform for dramatically extending the capabilities of the entire theming system of Joomla.

6 Styles, 18 Combinations!

An important aspect of Reaction is its design, and has 6 unique style variations in 18 combinations. Each preset style has 3 background levels: Low, Medium & High, which represent different levels of detailing. Therefore, with a simple parameter switch, you can pivotally change the theme from a conservative to a vibrant design.

Fusion Menu

Fusion is javascript-based dropdown menu system, with extensive functionality. The menu itself is built on the rewritten core of the latest revision of RokNavMenu, the core application behind all RocketTheme menus.

Fusion offers a series of new abilities ranging from Menu Icons, Subtext support and much greater controls over the Multiple Column ability for dropdowns.

Menu Styles

Suckerfish Menu:
This menu is a Suckerfish menu system and is disabled by default but if you prefer to enable it you can set the menu to "2" in the "Template Configuration". In Joomla 1.5 will have the option in the template parameters.

S5 Menus:
Choose between either jQuery or the S5 Effects Javascript scripts to power the menu systems. jQuery is running in no conflict mode so you shouldn't experience any script conflictions but if you do just switch to the S5 Effects option. This will make ensure your modules and components won't cause any conflictions using the menu system. Just mouse over the top menu in the demo and you will notice the suckerfish menu smoothly expand in, fade in or drop in depending on the demo you are viewing.

Don't want this fancy menu? Not a problem, you can switch to the standard suckerfish menu system in the template configuration or completely hide the menu altogether.
